Soros plotting secret anti-Trump meetings in D.C.

For eight years under the leadership of Barack Obama, the democrats’ primary objective was to advance their progressive agenda at all costs. Using Alinsky-style tactics, the far left have demonstrated that when necessary, they will say and do just about anything in order to promote their ideology and make it go mainstream. This sort of strategy was seen several times throughout the Obama presidency, whether it was exploiting children to make an emotional case for gun control, labeling illegal aliens as “dreamers” who only want a better life, lying about the state of the economy, and so on and so forth.

But when Donald Trump was elected on November 8 of last year, the leftists knew they had to change their game. Suddenly, advancing the ideas and principles of progressivism became a secondary objective, and the primary objective became the political dismantlement of the new president’s administration, as well as the new president himself. As early as Inauguration Day, certain left-wing organizations and protestors were calling for Trump’s impeachment, arguing that he was somehow unfit to be President of the United States. Since then, liberals within Washington DC and the mainstream media have desperately tried to pick off members of Trump’s administration, even forcing former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to resign.

Now, it appears that liberal billionaire George Soros and other prominent left-wing activists are getting in on the anti-Trump action.

Recently, it was revealed that a network of rich liberal donors, including George Soros himself, held a meeting in Washington D.C to discuss ways to take down President Donald Trump. A copy of the conference’s agenda, marked “confidential,” was obtained by The Daily Caller. According to the document, the conference was held from March 22 to March 25, but the final two days were exclusive to “current [Democracy Alliance] partners and Foundation Subscribers.”

Another event, which was scheduled for Thursday, March 23, was closed off to everyone except for donors and their advisors. Titled “From Resistance to Rebuilding: Harnessing the Energy of the Moment to Win in the States,” the event allows participants to “hear about smart, collaborative plans and funding opportunities to win back power in the states.” The description goes on to say, “Democracy Alliance Board Chair John Stocks will unveil the State Victory Fund, which will be a hub of this work.”

Yet another event, held on Friday of that week, was titled “Disrupting Politics: Technology and Media Innovation” and focused on fighting “the rise in popularity of far-right websites.”

Interestingly enough, the conference agenda confirms suspicions that the leaders of the National Women’s March, as well as members of the anti-trump group Indivisible, are working with wealthy left wing elitists to take down President Trump.

Just a couple of weeks ago, USA Today reported that Democracy Alliance is considering funding both the Women’s March organization and Indivisible. Linda Sarsour, the Women’s March organizer, and Leah Greenberg, co-founder of Indivisible, both participated in a panel on a Saturday event focused on “Fueling and Sustaining the Progressive Resistance.” It is also worth noting that Sarsour is scheduled to speak this month at an event with a convicted Palestinian terrorist.

Sadly, this is the sort of thing Republicans should expect from our friends on the other side of the aisle for years to come, most likely until President Trump leaves the Oval Office. There will never come a day when big liberal donors, leftists within the mainstream media, or congressional democrats back off and collectively say “let’s give Donald Trump a chance.” At the very least, these sort of backdoor meetings and political attacks will carry on for four years, and unless the Democrats stop Trump in 2020, four more years after that.
