A viral video making use of Google Earth’s history tool has revealed what appears to be mass graves on Jeffrey Epstein’s Little St. James Island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Writer and researcher Greg Reese expounded on this discovery in a post on his “Reese Report” Substack. The video showed that in September 2002, the location of the mass graves was nothing but a bare mound of earth in the center of the island.
In March 2005, the Florida’s Palm Beach Police Department (PBPD) started investigating the billionaire financier after a mother reported that he sexually abused her 14-year-old daughter. Epstein was arrested more than a year later in July 2006 on state felony charges of obtaining a minor for prostitution, but was released hours later on a $3,000 bond.
In November 2006, Google Earth showed that the earlier uncovered mound has the mass graves recently buried on top of it. At the time, Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer was accused of providing special treatment to Epstein.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) then started an investigation, resulting in federal prosecutors setting up an indictment in 2007 against Epstein. After a year-long delay in the courts, Epstein pleaded guilty to one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of requesting prostitution from a minor in June 2008.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison with a confidential agreement with the U.S. attorney’s office to not be indicted for federal crimes. The financier served most of his sentence in a work-release program that permitted him to leave jail during the day.
“In July of 2009, Epstein is released from jail. One month later in August [2009], Google Earth showed what appeared to be mass graves on the mound had been covered over. In 2013, construction began on the mound grave site,” Reese said.
“By 2017, the construction of what appears to be a tennis court was completed. Drone footage shows that the elevation in Google Earth is off, the newly built tennis court is on a flat level plane surrounded by a dirt berm.”
Google Earth footage from January 2018 showed that the tennis court had been bulldozed and the earth below seemed to have been excavated. In November of that year, the Miami Herald started publishing a string of articles about the Epstein case, which caught public interest.
Epstein was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019, and the FBI raided the island the following month. During that time, Google Earth showed cloud cover dimming the view of the mound. Epstein was reported to have committed suicide in his federal prison cell in New York City on Aug. 10, 2019.
The next available image of the island was a month later in September 2019 and it showed that the area on the mound was being utilized as a parking lot for commercial vehicles. The site was cleared by 2020 and has remained so until now.
Meanwhile, the New York Post published exclusive new pictures of Little St. James Island as it is being converted into a luxury resort years after the convicted sex offender’s alleged demise. The island’s former owner entertained dignitaries, scientists, celebrities and others from around the world. He also flew in abused and trafficked girls and young women for orgies and other debauchery. Billionaire Stephen Deckoff purchased Little St. James, alongside the bigger adjacent Great St. James Island, for $60 million in May 2023. This was more than 50 percent cheaper from the original $125 million asking price. But instead of destroying its present structures, Deckoff has chosen to reconstruct it.
The Post‘s images showed slight additions to the property’s oversized pool area, including a pair of inflatable swans and several waterside seats. But the most noticeable change was seen in the island’s blue-and-white “temple” with a golden dome.
The structure was painted over with a fresh coat of white, with the cryptic patterns on its front and sides being whitewashed. The foreboding wooden front doors with a medieval-style lock were also eschewed. Deckoff had this structure remodeled as an outdoor patio and fire pit.
